Mamore River Lodge: (Jan-Aug)
Built in the Bolivian amazon basin, just 45 minutes north of Santa Cruz, is a great destination for both anglers and non-anglers alike. Mamoré offers unsurpassed jungle adventures that never fail to please. Here you will find "Pacu" up to 70 lbs, "Pirana" 2 lbs, "Sardinata" 7 lbs and the amazonian catfish which can weigh up to 200 lbs!!! A great destination for Birdwatchers and Nature lovers! The lodge consists of six fully furnished rooms with full bathrooms, running hot and cold water, a central dining room, a well equipped kitchen and a1200 mts. airfield.
Los Lagos: (Year round)
The large number of natural lakes in the Santa Ana area makes all visiting anglers wish for a longer stay. The Los Lagos Hotel is very comfortable with air conditioned guest rooms with en suite bathrooms, a restaurant offering fine continental and Bolivian cuisine,a full bar and lounge, and a lovely pool area for a relaxing swim after an exciting day´s fishing. Even though peacock-bass here only grow up to 8 pounds you can expect 60-100 strikes per day. Other species found here include piranas, pacu and catfish.
